They think they’re just sticking it to the tax man but they’re really financing organized crime groups to do all these other illicit activities

It’s a cat and mouse game so that’s the way they operate.

Smuggling of illicit cigarettes is big business. Unfortunately, most of that big business is organized crime. The RCMP is working with other law enforcement agencies to try and deter smuggling in every capacity. This exciting episode looks at smuggling in the Cornwall area and how the Mounties are making a difference through their proactive approach to the problem.
