Police get down on the ground, get down on the ground.

He's catching the drift eh.

None of us want to sacrifice our partners, it's like throwing another policeman into the situation you don't want to do that.

If Narco wouldn't have been there that day, I probably would've got hit.

Totally saved my life that day.

They can be our lifeline at the end of a call, they're everything to us.

Episode: March 30 and April 2, 2010

For a police dog and his handler, every day on the job is different, unpredictable and guaranteed to be exciting. They form an effective team that is invaluable on the  front lines of policing. This episode takes us to the West coast where we follow an experienced team on their patrols, get an intimate view of the relationship between dog and handler, and witness the unique situations they encounter every day.  We also visit the Police Dog Service Training Centre in Alberta where these canine heroes are bred and trained.
