I always wanted to do a northern territorial posting.
Don't resist, keep your hands behind your back, okay?
Get on your knees.
We were told that to come up here you have to be bit more of a stronger cadet.
Going to arrest you for being drunk in public, okay?
You're having a bad night
We all recognize the challenges up here; it's a very unique territory, very beautiful as well.
There's nothing I'd rather be doing. If I could do this day in and day out, I'd do it every single day, I love it.
Episode: March 23 and 26, 2010
One of the most unique things about the RCMP is that they serve very remote, northern communities. The remote experience is one that is all about commitment and extremes ‑‑ extremes in climate, isolation and working conditions. For those who serve in the North, it becomes their way of life. They live as the people do. They immerse themselves in the culture and they get out onto the land. Follow these members, as they face the many unique challenges of policing in the North.
