RCMP seize over 2100 marijuana plants, Richibucto, N.B.

On August 17, 2010, District 5 Kent RCMP seized over 2100 marijuana plants from various wooded areas in Bass River, Point Sapin, Laketon, Saint-Ignace and Acadieville.

If fully grown these plants could have yielded over 1,050,000 marijuana joints. These investigations are ongoing.

The seizures are part of District 5 RCMP's ongoing eradication of marijuana production in an effort to reduce crime in our communities.
