RCMP investigate suspicious deaths, Cassilis, N.B.

On August 22, 2010 at approximately 11:30 am, Sunny Corner RCMP were dispatched to a residence on Highway 420 in Cassilis where the bodies of an elderly couple in their 70's were found inside the home.

The deaths at this point are considered suspicious and RCMP Major Crime North and Sunny Corner RCMP are investigating. Autopsies are scheduled to be performed on Monday to determine the cause of death. The names of the deceased are not being released at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
