Police lay additional charges in Attempted Murder investigation, Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM), N.S.

The RCMP/HRP Integrated General Investigation Section (GIS) laid an additional eleven charges in relation to the Attempted Murder investigation on Wendybrook Drive in Tantallon on January 17th, 2012.

Last evening, GIS members arrested and charged 20-year-old Wayne Casey from Timberlea with Robbery using a Firearm and ten additional weapons-related offences. This arrest is in addition to the seven adult males and one male youth charged on February 3, 2012 with a total of 48 charges. The total number of charges is now 59.

Casey was held in custody and was to appear in Halifax Provincial Court today to answer to these charges.
