We open on an empty, classic, upscale bar/restaurant. Low-light, white tablecloths and candlelight. In the background is a bored bartender re-washing glasses behind the bar and a large well dressed mobster-looking guy, Johnny, sitting at a table by himself, looking serious and stressed.
Al walks in, looks around nervously and slides into the seat in front of Johnny.(We hear the chair drag on the floor.) (leaning in and speaking in a hushed serious voices.)
Al : Where is everybody?
Johnny : We’re it.
Al : What do you mean?
Johnny : They got Clicked.
Al : (Reaching for his gun) Got CLIPPED?!
Johnny : (stopping him) No! CLICKED!
Al : Jimmy and his fake checks and I.D.s?
Johnny : Clicked!
Al : Hass with the mail and telemarketing scam?
Johnny : Clicked!
Al : (looking like it can’t be true) Our accountant?
Johnny : Clicked!
Al : Who’s doing this Clicking?
Johnny : (upset) Everybody. They click on RECOL.ca, report a fraud, someone with a badge is at your door and you’re clicked.
Al : I’m moving to the States
Johnny : It’s international.
(There is a loud noise of a computer mouse clicking, and a computer generated “ding” as someone finishes hitting SEND on the RECOL.ca site)
Al : (Scared) What’s that?
(A computer cursor arrow appears over Al’s head)
Johnny : (Serious) Ohhh, I think you just got clicked.
