RCMP Certificate Services Program: Becoming an LRA

Candidates will need to complete an LRA Training Registration Form 5118 and fax the form to 613-993-3728. Once the form is received the candidate will be placed on the LRA training reservation list and will be contacted for the next LRA training session in their area. Forms must be received 2 months in advance of the scheduled training period to allow time for proper arrangements.

The 3 hour LRA training course will provide the candidates with a basic understanding of public key infrastructure (PKI), an overview of the RCMP Certificate Service’s infrastructure, and the responsibilities of the LRA.

The LRA must understand the security policies and practices used to minimize any security risks to the information assets protected by the RCMP Certificate Authority.
