Musical Ride Open House – February 4, 2023
In 2023, the RCMP is marking 150 years of service to the public and security of our country. For this major milestone in our organization, we're excited to once again welcome visitors back to our stables for our RCMP Musical Ride Open House and Ottawa Food Bank Drive!
The Open House has been an annual tradition in our community since 1996 and we're once again proud to be a Winterlude partner event. Bring your family and friends to visit the home of the Musical Ride and meet police officers from the RCMP in support of the Ottawa Food Bank.

What to expect
This Winterlude, drop in to tour the stables and meet the horses and riders of the world-famous Musical Ride. You'll get a chance to take a selfie (or two) with a Mountie and the beautiful black Musical Ride horses! You'll also get to see demonstrations from RCMP specialized units, take part in family-friendly activities and check out displays of police equipment.
Giving back to the community
Admission is free; however, non-perishable food items and cash donations will be collected in support of the Ottawa Food Bank.
Now, more than ever, the Ottawa Food Bank needs help as they continue to see dramatic increases in need for their services month over month.
Through the generosity of visitors, our last Open House in 2020 raised over $3,700 and approximately 2,470 pounds of food.
