15-year-old boy dies following collision between dirt bike and pickup truck

A 15-year-old boy from Williamsburg, N.B., has died following a collision between a dirt bike and a pickup truck in Nashwaak Bridge, N.B.

On September 18, 2020, shortly before 6 p.m., the West District RCMP received a report of a two-vehicle collision that happened on a gravel road near Cross Creek Road in Nashwaak Bridge. The collision is believed to have occurred when the pickup truck and dirt bike collided head-on.

The driver and lone occupant of the dirt bike, a 15-year-old boy from Williamsburg, died at the scene as a result of his injuries. The driver and lone occupant of the pickup truck was not injured.

The investigation into the cause of the collision is continuing.
