59-year-old woman dies following collision with moose

A 59-year-old woman from Minto, N.B., has died after her vehicle collided with a moose in Ripples.

On September 21, 2020, shortly before 6:30 a.m., the West District RCMP received a report of a collision on Route 10 in Ripples. The collision is believed to have occurred when a car travelling southbound collided with a moose.

The driver and lone occupant of the car, a 59-year-old woman from Minto, died at the scene as a result of her injuries.

The investigation into the cause of the collision is continuing.
