AB RCMP Major Crimes seek public assistance in suspicious death investigation near Leduc – Update #2

In an effort to further the investigation into what has been determined to be a homicide, the RCMP Major Crimes Unit are providing more information and continue to seek public assistance.

Kaleel Trotman (21), was last seen in the 32nd Street area of Edmonton on the morning of Nov. 13, 2020. At some point he travelled to Leduc where he was located deceased on the morning of Nov. 14.

An autopsy was conducted on Nov. 18, and the determination was that Kaleel Trotman was shot, and he was the victim of homicide.

The RCMP Major Crimes Unit investigators believe that there are people who know who Kaleel was associating with prior to his death. Anyone with information is asked to please come forward and contact the Leduc RCMP at 780-980-7267.
