This morning at approximately 4:20 a.m., Cochrane RCMP responded to a report of an alleged stabbing inside a residence in the Sunset Common area of Cochrane. An adult male was located injured at the residence and was pronounced deceased a short time later.
A second adult male who was also found to be injured at the residence was transported to hospital via EMS.
The Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit has taken over carriage of this investigation and remain on scene with the assistance of RCMP Forensic Identification Services.
