Bay St. George RCMP traffic stops result in vehicle seizures and tickets to drivers

Two drivers, who were recently pulled over during separate traffic stops by Bay St. George RCMP, were issued tickets and their vehicles were impounded.

At approximately 10:00 a.m. on August 24, 2020, Bay St. George RCMP was on patrol in Stephenville and observed a vehicle being operated by a known suspended driver. A traffic stop was conducted on Wyoming Drive and the driver, a 41-year-old man, was issued a ticket for driving while suspended and his vehicle was seized and impounded.

At approximately 12:30 p.m. on August 24, 2020, Bay St. George RCMP was on patrol on Route 490 and observed a vehicle speeding. The driver, a 31-year-old man, was found to be driving without valid registration or insurance. He was ticketed for the offences and the vehicle was seized and impounded.
