Bell Island RCMP is seeking the assistance of the public with several reports of damage to property, specifically the breaking of windows, on Bell Island.
Between August 23 and 24, 2020, two homes on Middleton Avenue were damaged. One of the homes, which was unoccupied at the time of the incident, had damage to the glass portion of the side door. The other residence, which was vacant, had several windows smashed by rocks.
Sometime between August 31 and September 1, 2020, a residence on Theatre Avenue had a window broken out.
The Bell Island Community Museum, which has remained closed during the Covid-19 pandemic, was also damaged. A window on the side of the building, facing Theatre Avenue, was broken. This happened sometime between August 25 – September 1, 2020.
The investigations are continuing.
