Clarenville RCMP looks to identify this individual, wearing a disposable face mask, a black hooded sweater with grey trim, white gloves and black pants, who committed an armed robbery at the Needs Convenience Store in Clarenville on August 28, 2020.

Clarenville RCMP is investigating an armed robbery that occurred on August 28, 2020, at the Needs Convenience Store in Clarenville.

At approximately 10:00 p.m. on Friday evening, an individual entered the store holding a weapon and demanded money. The suspect departed on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect, who was wearing a disposable face mask, a black hooded sweater with grey trim, white gloves and black pants, is described as approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and a thin build.

Clarenville RCMP, along with Police Dog Services, attended the scene. The RCMP Forensic Identification Section was engaged and the investigation is continuing.
