Clarenville RCMP seeks public’s assistance locating Jason Hepditch, wanted on arrest warrant

Update: Jason Hepditch was taken into custody by RCMP Police Service Dog Kaos in Whitbourne on October 5, 2020.

Clarenville RCMP is seeking assistance from the public in locating 45-year-old Jason Thomas Hepditch who is currently wanted on an arrest warrant.

The arrest warrant, issued on September 9, 2020, is in relation to an incident that took place on August 31, 2020, where Hepditch allegedly assaulted an individual with a weapon outside of a Southern Harbour residence and caused damage to the property.

Hepditch, who has since had a number of phone conversations with police, has been actively avoiding arrest and informed officers that he has no intentions of turning himself in. He is believed to possibly be residing in the area of Southern Harbour.
