On September 17, 2020, members of the 'M' Division Crime Reduction Unit investigated a male believed to be trafficking cocaine in downtown Whitehorse, Yuko
Calvin PEMBLETON (53-year-old who is a recent resident of Watson Lake, Yukon) was subsequently placed under arrest for trafficking a controlled substance.
A search warrant was executed at an apartment at the Chilkoot Trail Inn and an amount of cocaine was located.
PEMBLETON has been held for first appearance in court on September 18, 2020 on the following charges:
- Trafficking a Controlled Substance (cocaine);
- Fail to Comply with a Release Order (possession of weapons);
- Fail to Comply with a Release Order (possession of more than 1 cell phone).
PEMBLETON also has pending charges of Trafficking Cocaine and Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking out of Watson Lake, Yukon from February 2020.
