Gods Lake Narrows RCMP intercept drugs entering the community

On October 3, 2020, at approximately 12:15 pm, RCMP responded to the Gods Lake Narrows airport as part of an ongoing drug investigation.

Three females from the community, who were returning on a flight from Winnipeg, were arrested and found to be in possession of approximately 26 grams of cocaine and 9 grams of methamphetamine.

A 28-year-old female is facing charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.

A 32-year-old female is facing charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance x2 and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.

A 19-year-old female is facing charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance x2 and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.

They were released from custody and are scheduled to appear in court on December 9, 2020.

Gods Lake Narrows RCMP continue to investigate.
