Grand Falls Windsor RCMP arrests four youth for a residential break and enter in Botwood

Four youth were taken into custody on July 15, 2020, by Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP for a break and enter into a residence in Botwood.

Police responded to the report of a break and enter in progress and upon arrival found the house was significantly damaged. Four youth were located and arrested at the scene. All four were released from custody and are set to attend court at later dates. Charges of break and enter and mischief over $5,000, for the damages to the residence, will be laid.

The investigation into this incident revealed that the youth may have been involved in three other break and enters within the Town of Botwood, and several other reports of property damage in the area. The investigations are continuing with the possibility of additional charges.
