Man arrested in connection with break, enter and theft investigations

The Hampton RCMP have made an arrest in connection with several recent break, enter and theft investigations.

Between October 15 and November 13, 2020, police responded to a total of five incidents at businesses in the town of Hampton. Following a break and enter at a business on Main Street on November 13, police arrested a 55-year-old man at a nearby home in connection with the investigation. Police believe the same individual may have been involved in the four other incidents. The man was released from custody with conditions and is scheduled to appear in Saint John Provincial Court on February 3, 2021.

Anyone who may have information that could assist the ongoing investigation, or who may have been a victim of a similar crime is asked to contact the Hampton RCMP at 506-832-5556.
