Man arrested in connection with theft of boat and trailer

A Campbellton, N.B, man has been arrested in relation to a previously reported theft of a boat and trailer from Dalhousie.

During the morning hours of October 14, 2020, members of the Campbellton RCMP detachment arrested a 51-year-old man, as part of the ongoing investigation into the theft.

The man was later released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Campbellton Provincial Court on February 8, 2021, in connection with the theft.

The boat and trailer have yet to be recovered, and police continue to seek information from the public that may assist in the investigation. Anyone with information, or who may have seen the boat after it was stolen, is asked to contact the Campbellton RCMP detachment at 506-789-6000.
