Police investigating roofing nails dumped on roadways

Barrington RCMP are investigating incidents of nails dumped on roadways between Newellton and Clarks Harbour in Shelburne County.

Today at 6:55 a.m., Barrington RCMP responded to reports of roofing nails on roadways in Newellton and Clarks Harbour. Officers located nails in multiple locations, including, on Hwy. 330 and entrances to West Head Wharf, Clarkes Harbour Wharf and Newellton Orion Wharf.

Police have not received reports of tires being damaged as a result of these incidents. The matters are still under investigation.
