Powerview RCMP seize drugs and weapons during a traffic stop

On September 20, 2020, at approximately 1:00 am, Powerview RCMP conducted a traffic stop on Maple Street, in Pine Falls. During the course of the investigation, officers located and seized approximately 28 grams of crystal methamphetamine, weapons and drug paraphernalia.

All four occupants were arrested.

Erin Courchene, 34, of Winnipeg, has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, and Drive while Disqualified (under the Highway Traffic Act).

Victor Favel, 36, of Winnipeg, has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose.

Vincent Raven, 33, of Winnipeg, has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose x2 and Fail to Comply x3.

They were remanded into custody.

A 36-year-old female from Winnipeg, will be facing a charge of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.

She was released and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.

Powerview RCMP continue to investigate.
