Public’s help sought in home invasion and robbery investigation

The Southeast District RCMP's Crime Reduction Unit is asking for the public's help as part of its ongoing investigation into a home invasion and robbery in Whites Mountain, N.B.

During the early morning hours of October 24, 2020, members of the Sussex RCMP responded to a call at a residence on Whites Mountain Road. Police believe at least three people wearing ski masks and armed with weapons entered the home, assaulted the three occupants, and stole an undisclosed amount of money.

The three occupants of the home were transported to hospital for treatment, and were later released.

Through the investigation, police seized a black 2006 Lexus IS, believed to be connected to the incident.

Police are now seeking information from the public to help further the investigation.

Anyone who may have seen the black 2006 Lexus IS in the Whites Mountain area between 4:30 a.m. and 5:30 a.m., on October 24, or who has information that could assist the investigation, is asked to contact the Southeast District RCMP's Crime Reduction Unit at 506-832-5566. The investigation is ongoing.
