On December 27, 2020, at 11:10 pm, the Cranberry Portage RCMP responded to a report of a deceased male at a residence in Cold Lake, Manitoba.
Police attended and located a 50-year-old male from Cold Lake deceased, inside a residence. The RCMP Major Crime Unit and The Pas Forensic Identification Services attended to assist with the investigation.
As a result of the investigation, Jay Caribou, 22, and Lyle Hart, 22, both from Pukatawagan, have been arrested and charged with Manslaughter. They have been remanded into custody and will appear in The Pas court on December 30, 2020.
RCMP continue to investigate.
