On November 13th, 2020 at approximately 7:12 a.m., the Iqaluit RCMP responded to a report of a disturbance inside a residence in the 4100 area of Imiqtarviminiq Street.
The Nunavut RCMP Critical Incident Team has been working throughout the day to resolve this incident. Schools in the area were advised of the unfolding event.
The RCMP is asking residents living in the 4100 area of Imiqtarviminiq Street to refrain from returning home after work. If residents living in this area need to come or go for an emergency, please call the RCMP at 979-1111 for assistance.
