RCMP charge two for Unsafe Operation of a Vessel in separate incidents

Meteghan RCMP have charged two people under Vessel Operation Restriction Regulations for unsafe activity in St. Marys Bay near Saulnierville.

On November 26, RCMP charged 34-year-old, Brandon Alexander Maloney, of Hants County for Unsafe Operation of a Vessel in relation to an incident that took place on September 20, 2020, in St. Marys Bay.

Also charged is 26-year-old Shaquest India Miller of Yarmouth County, for Unsafe Operation of a Vessel related to an October 12 incident, in St. Marys Bay. Both are scheduled to appear in Digby Provincial Court February 15, 2021 at 9:30 a.m.

The investigations are ongoing.

The Nova Scotia RCMP will continue to take steps to ensure that those who unlawfully interfere with or threaten the safety of any person or property may be held accountable in accordance with the laws of Canada.
