RCMP investigating break, enter and theft at wastewater management facility

The Northeast District RCMP is investigating a break, enter and theft at the wastewater management facility in Esgenoôpetitj First Nation, N.B, that resulted in the theft of several items including electronics and tools.

The break and enter occurred at the facility on Micmac Road sometime between 2 p.m. on October 23 and 2:40 p.m. on October 24, 2020. One or more individuals gained entry to the property, which was unoccupied at the time, and stole several items including:

two LED 18-inch widescreen Northern Video computer monitors
one 18-inch widescreen computer monitor
one Northern Video 16-channel 1080p Network Video Recorder
one VTScada system with a Lenovo ThinkCentre
one workstation computer
one Kito electric chain hoist

Anyone who may have been in the area and witnessed suspicious activity between 2 p.m. on October 23 and 2:40 p.m. on October 24, or who has information on the location of the stolen items is asked to call the Neguac RCMP at 506-776-3000.
