The West District RCMP is hoping information from the public will help their ongoing investigation into the theft of an air-conditioning unit that was stolen from a church property in Anderson Road, N.B.

On November 22, 2020, police received a report of a theft of an air-conditioning unit from outside the St. Theresa of the child Jesus Church on Route 380. The theft is believed to have occurred around 12:30 a.m. that morning. A black sedan was seen in the area shortly before the theft.

The unit is described as a 2017 Senville air conditioner with serial number 240269100379130150050.

Anyone with information about this theft, or who was in the area and witnessed suspicious activity is asked to contact the Perth-Andover RCMP at 506-273-5000. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), by downloading the secure P3 Mobile App, or by Secure Web Tips at www.crimenb.ca.

The investigation is ongoing.
