RCMP seize drugs and arrest male

On July 2, 2020 at approximately 4:00 pm, the RCMP West District Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team, along with Dauphin RCMP, executed a search warrant at a rural property in the RM of Dauphin.

While conducting a search of the property, a vehicle which had been reported stolen from the City of Dauphin, was recovered. Officers also seized approximately 30 grams of cocaine, cannabis, ammunition and bear spray.

Josiah Jayden YURY, 24, was arrested and charged with:

Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine
Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
Possession of Packaging Materials used to Traffic a Controlled Substance.
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
Fail to comply x 3

He was remanded into custody.

RCMP continue to investigate.
