On June 28, 2020, at approximately 10:55 pm, Steinbach RCMP responded to a vehicle vs pedestrian collision on Road 40 East, just north of Highway 1, in the RM of Ste. Anne.
A vehicle was travelling south on Road 40 East, when it collided with a pedestrian that was walking on the west side of the gravel road. The 53-year-old male pedestrian from the RM of Ste. Anne, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
There were no reported injuries to the driver and sole occupant, a 17-year-old male from the RM of Ste. Anne.
Steinbach RCMP along with a Traffic Analyst, continue to investigate.
