Stonewall RCMP respond to fatal motorcycle collision

At 7:20 pm, on June 27, 2020, Stonewall RCMP received a report of a single-vehicle collision on Provincial Road 248, located approximately two kilometres south of Marquette.

Officers believe a motorcycle, being driven by a 62-year-old male from Winnipeg, was heading northbound when the driver appears to have lost control of his bike as he entered a curve. The driver then entered the ditch and rolled.

The 62-year-old, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced deceased on scene.

Stonewall RCMP, along with a Forensic Collision Reconstructionist, continue to investigate.
