Third man charged in the Colton Cook murder, investigation continues

The RCMP have charged a third Yarmouth County man in the death of 26-year-old Colton James Cook who was reported missing to police on September 27.

On September 29, 2020, Colton Cook's identifiable remains were located near the intersection of Saunders Rd. and Raynardton Rd. in South Ohio, after partial remains were found on September 27 near a burned vehicle.

Keith Arthur Siscoe, 35-years-old, of Yarmouth County was arrested yesterday in Lunenburg County. Siscoe is charged with Accessory After The Fact To Murder. Late last night, Siscoe appeared via teleconference with a Justice of the Peace and was held in custody. Siscoe will next appear today at 9:30 a.m. in Shelburne Provincial Court.

The RCMP's Southwest Nova Major Crimes Unit is continuing with the investigation with the assistance of Yarmouth Town and Rural Detachments.
