Two-vehicle collision claims life of 66 year-old man

A 66-year-old man from Saint John, N.B., has died as a result of a two-vehicle collision in Hampton.

On December 18, 2020, shortly after 10 a.m., members of the Hampton RCMP and Hampton Fire Department responded to a report of a collision at the intersection of Loggie Drive and William Bell Drive.

The collision is believed to have occurred when a fuel delivery truck driving westbound on William Bell Drive collided with a sedan. A 66-year-old man who was the sole occupant of the sedan died at the scene. A 70-year-old man who was the sole occupant of the fuel delivery truck was not injured.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing. An autopsy is scheduled to determine the man's exact cause of death.
