At approximately 6:20 am this morning, RCMP officers from Arborg and Gimli responded to a report of a head-on collision on Highway 7, approximately seven kilometers south of Arborg, in the RM of Armstrong.
The investigation has determined that a southbound car collided head-on with a car travelling northbound. The northbound vehicle had one occupant, a 53-year-old female from the RM of Armstrong. She received serious, but non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Winnipeg hospital.
The southbound vehicle had three occupants, and they were all deceased on scene. Two 23-year-old males from Winnipeg, and another as-yet-unidentified male.
Alcohol is not considered a factor in the collision.
Arborg RCMP, along with the Criminal Collision Investigation Team and a Forensic Collision Reconstructionist, continue to investigate.
