Dauphin RCMP respond to stabbing

On November 30, 2021, at approximately 12:00 pm, Dauphin RCMP received a report of a stabbing at a residence located on 2nd Avenue NE in the City of Dauphin.

Officers arrived to find a 24-year-old male with non-life threatening injuries who was transported to hospital.

The preliminary investigation has revealed that the victim was in the residence when he responded to a knock on the door. As he opened the door, a group of individuals believed to be known to the victim, entered the home and a fight ensued where the victim was assaulted. The suspects then fled the scene on foot.
