A 64-year-old man was arrested last evening in Gander after he attended the residence of the Minister of Health and Community Services and made threats against him, which were determined to be in relation to public health mask requirements.
At approximately 6:15 p.m., Gander RCMP received the report that an unknown man attended the home of the Minister, yelling and threatening physical harm.
A short time later, the man was located at a residence in Gander. He was arrested for uttering threats and was released on multiple conditions. He is scheduled to attend court at a later date.
