Gypsumville RCMP investigates shots fired

Within the last few days, Gypsumville RCMP have received three reports of shots fired in the community of Pinaymootang First Nation.

On November 29, 2021, at approximately 3:45 am RCMP responded to a residence on School Road in the community for a report of shots fired. Later that day at 5:40 pm, RCMP responded to the same residence on School Road for a second report of shots fired. On December 2, RCMP responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Main Market Road in the community. In all three instances no one was injured.

Police believe these incidents may be drug and gang related, and are asking anyone with information to please call Gypsumville RCMP at 204-659-5224 or call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477, or secure tip online at www.manitobacrimestoppers.com.
