Happy holidays from PEI RCMP’s Commanding Officer

December 17, 2021
Prince Edward Island, Prince Edward Island

Statement

As 2021 comes to close, I would like to wish Islanders, PEI RCMP partners and employees a safe holiday season filled with happiness and joy.

Over the past year, our communities have come together and made efforts throughout the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure the health and safety of those around us. The kindness, generosity and support of Islanders has been truly heartwarming.

With 2022 around the corner, we look forward to continuing to work with our partners and communities to solve and prevent crime and to ensure everyone's safety.

Over the holidays, PEI RCMP officers and employees will be working around the clock to keep everyone safe. I would like to remind Islanders to celebrate the holidays responsibly. Please always drive sober, arrange for a designated driver, or call a taxi. Ensure you wear a seatbelt, give yourself plenty of time to get to your destination, do not speed, and drive for the road conditions.

I wish you happy holidays and all the best for 2022.

C/Supt. Jennifer Ebert
Commanding Officer L Division
