On Friday, April 30, the Kings District RCMP executed a Section 117 Public Safety Search Warrant at a residence in Montague to search for and seize firearms/ammunition.
As a result of the search, 13 long guns were seized and a large amount of related ammunition for the weapons.
The investigation is ongoing and charges are not being considered at this time.
