News release

In an abundance of caution related to the modified red restrictions announced by the Province due to the recent spike of COVID cases, concern, and possible exposure sites, RCMP front counter service has been suspended for routine matters and non-essential criminal records checks. All police operational response will continue as normal. Urgent requests for police response should be made through the provincial 9-1-1 service . All non-urgent calls for police service from the public may be made to the detachment offices found here

RCMP regrets any inconvenience this may cause, but for now and as we move through these health concerns we are reducing the potential for non-urgent person to person contacts. Only essential or urgent criminal records checks will be completed on a pre-scheduled case by case basis.

Once the health concerns improve within the province these routine services will be re-instated and again be offered.
