On February 17, 2021, at approximately 8:10 am, Portage la Prairie RCMP responded to a report of a break and enter that had occurred overnight at a pharmacy on Saskatchewan Avenue in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.
The suspects entered the building and disabled the alarm system, then gained entry into the safe holding narcotics. A variety of narcotics were stolen, including hydromorphone, fentanyl, and oxycodone. These drugs are dangerous and can cause a lot of harm when not prescribed by and used under the care of a doctor.
