Southey RCMP investigating serious single motor vehicle collision

On December 7, 2021 at approximately 4:47 p.m., Southey RCMP responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 6, approximately 12 kms north of Southey, SK.

Southey First Responders, Cupar EMS, and STARS ambulance also responded to the collision.

Initial investigation has determined that the vehicle was travelling northbound on Highway 6 when it drifted west leaving the highway, and subsequently flipped. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 53 year-old female was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries. We will not be providing further updates on her condition. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.

Southey RCMP continue to investigate.
