Yarmouth Town RCMP investigating armed robbery

Yarmouth Town RCMP is investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Main St. in Yarmouth.

At approximately 7:50 p.m. December 28, police responded to a report of an armed robbery at a grocery store on Main St. in Yarmouth. Police learned that a man had entered the store wearing a Halloween mask and had what appeared to be bear spray in his hand. The man demanded cash, which he was given, and left the store on foot. No one was injured.

The investigation is being led by the Yarmouth RCMP General Investigation Section, with assistance from Yarmouth Town RCMP.
