Yukon RCMP Crime Reduction Unit arrest seven people for drug trafficking related offences

January 6, 2021, the Crime Reduction Unit entered into a drug trafficking investigation in Whitehorse. The investigation led to the subsequent arrest of a number of individuals and the search of a residence in Whistlebend.

The investigation resulted in the seizure of the following:

  • Large quantities of substances believed to be cocaine
  • A Large amount of Canadian Currency
  • Several cell phones
  • 2018 Nissan Rogue
  • Other items of evidence related to Drug Trafficking

At the completion of the operation, seven individuals are being held for court as follows:

  • Adrian Le DIUZET (32) - Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Cocaine) and Possess Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 plus one Warrant executed for Fraud
  • Courtney ALFRED (22) - Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Cocaine)
  • Paul MIDDLETON (35) - Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Cocaine) and Resist Arrest
  • Havanna PAPEQUASH (21) - Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Cocaine) and Resist Arrest
  • William ULOTH (55) - 3 Warrants executed (2 unendorsed out of Whitehorse; 1 endorsed out of Dawson)
  • Christine DENECHEZHE (20) - Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Cocaine)

The seventh individual cannot be identified under terms of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
