Police have located a body during a search for a missing 45-year-old man from Kent County.
The man was last seen May 14, 2022 near St. Margaret's. He was reported missing to the Richibucto RCMP on May 21. On May 22, Miramichi Police Force located a body inside a vehicle associated with the missing man in a parking lot near Highway 11.
An autopsy has been scheduled to positively identify the body, and to determine the cause of death. At this time, police do not believe criminality to be a factor.
The investigation is continuing.
