Cochrane RCMP charge male in criminal harassment and voyeurism investigation

On March 14, 2022, Cochrane RCMP began an investigation into allegations of criminal harassment. As a result of the investigation, a 44-year-old male of Calgary, was charged with one count of criminal harassment. He was arrested, and after a judicial interim release hearing, was released on several conditions that included no contact with the victim, and to not attend the victim's residence or place of employment.

On March 21, 2022, Cochrane RCMP responded to a report of a break and enter to the victim's residence. The 44-year-old male was arrested and charged with several offences including the following:

  • Break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence (x2)
  • Criminal harassment (x2)
  • Fail to comply with release order
  • Fail to comply with Emergency Protection Order
  • Voyeurism

Following a judicial interim release hearing, he remains in custody. His next court appearance is March 24, 2022, in Cochrane Provincial Court.
