Deer Lake RCMP warns of suspicious pair possibly targeting female youth

Deer Lake RCMP is warning of a suspicious male and female following a report received the afternoon of June 22, 2022.

The report indicated that female youths were approached at a local coffee shop by a couple believed to be French.

The unknown woman approached one of the teens and said she had a model agency and was recruiting models.
She provided details of her Instagram account.

The woman is described as in her mid 40s, tall and slender with reddish long brown hair and wearing an orange motorcycle coat. The male is described as in his late 50s, with a salt and pepper goatee and black hair, slicked back. Both were wearing motorcycle gear and were on an orange sport motorcycle.

Police are interested in speaking with the couple to determine their intentions and ask residents to continue to report any suspicious activity. Parents and guardians are asked to speak with their children to determine if they were approached by the couple. Please call Deer Lake RCMP
