Flin Flon RCMP investigate kidnapping

On June 3, 2022, at approximately 3:20 am, RCMP responded to a report of a kidnapping at a residence in Flin Flon.

At approximately 2:50 am, a 57-year-old female was at her residence when a known female came to her home, gained entry and threatened her. The female grabbed a knife from inside the residence and demanded money. The suspect forced the victim to drive to a bank and withdraw money. Afterwards, they drove to a residence in Flin Flon. Once at the residence the victim was able to flee to safety and call police. She wasn't physically injured.

Flin Flon RCMP responded and a short time later located and arrested the suspect.

A 37-year-old female from Flin Flon is facing charges of:

Robbery
Kidnapping
Breaking and Entering
Assault With a Weapon
Uttering Threats
Mischief

Flin Flon RCMP continue to investigate.
